Nolandi Botha

I am a registered dietitian with the HPCSA, a member of ADSA, and a registered EatFit dietitian. I am also an accredited practitioner at the Centre of Diabetes and Endocrinology (CDE) and, in 2019, achieved the CDE Clinical Excellence award for Very Low Calories Diets.

I believe in providing individual attention and assistance to address personal needs rather than a generic solution. I believe that knowledge to empower nutritional decisions has successful results, and I am keen to share my scientific knowledge during consultations. I stay up-to-date with the newest research in dietetics and functional medicine and frequently attend short courses, workshops, and seminars.

Patient-centred approach

I  address the full range of physical, emotional, mental, social, and environmental influences that affect a person’s health. My main field of interest is clients suffering from hormone imbalances, lifestyle diseases, treating obesity as a medical disease, insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Diabetes Mellitus Type 2, and Diabetes Mellitus Type (making use of multiple daily injections of pump therapy).
